Transfer-out FAQ
Need a transfer authorization code?
The authorization code can be retrieved from the registry. Go to the OpenSRS Login Page, login with your Arctic Bears user name and password, then go to "Domain Extras".
Need your Arctic Bears password?
Go to the Arctic Bears Login Page, enter your domain name, leave the user name and password fields blank, and click "Manage Domain". The login will fail and provide you with a link to have your user name and password sent to the admin email address on file for the domain name you entered.
Need your CIRA password?
Send email to support at arctic bears dot com stating your .ca domain name and the fact that you need you CIRA password. We can have CIRA send it to the admin email address on file.
No longer have access to the admin email address and you need to change it?
For .com/.net/.org, if you still have your Arctic Bears password, you can change your contact info here.
If you don't have your password go here and follow the instructions. An admin email change without the password is a manual process managed by the registry and it will likely take a couple of days to complete.
If you have a .ca name, go here and follow the instructions. An admin email change for a .ca name is a manual process managed by CIRA and it will take several days to complete.
